• Account details — your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Your resume content — profile information, work history, education, skills, and resumes you create or save, including when you sync across devices.
• Share links — if you choose to share a resume, we store the link settings you select (such as expiry). People with the link can view that resume.
• Notifications — if you turn on push notifications, we store a device token so we can send alerts to your phone. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.
• Messages you send us — such as feedback or support requests, including your email if you provide it.
• Basic technical information — such as app version and standard server logs used to keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not sell your personal information.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account;
• Let you build, edit, sync, and share your resumes;
• Send important service messages and, if you allow it, push notifications;
• Respond to your questions and improve the app;
• Keep the app safe and prevent misuse.

How we share information

We do not sell your data. We may share information only in these situations:

• Service partners — trusted providers that help us host the app, send emails (such as sign-in codes), or deliver push notifications (Google Firebase). They may only use your data to provide these services to us.
• When you share a resume — anyone with your share link can see the content you chose to share until you remove the link or it expires.
• Legal reasons — if required by law or to protect the safety of our users and our service.
• Business changes — if our company is involved in a merger or sale, your information may transfer as part of that process, with appropriate protections.

Your choices

• Account — you can update your profile in the app. You can delete your account from the app, which removes your associated data from our systems. See our account deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
• Notifications — you can disable push notifications in your phone’s settings.
• Share links — you can stop sharing by removing or expiring a link in the app.
• Access or deletion — you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.

If you live in certain regions (such as the European Union or United Kingdom), you may have additional privacy rights under local law. Contact us below and we will respond as required.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the app. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must keep some information for legal or security reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including secure connections (HTTPS) and protected sign-in. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please use a strong password and keep your device secure.

Children’s privacy

Resume Builder Pro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

International users

Your information may be stored or processed in countries other than where you live, including where our servers or partners operate. We take steps to protect your information in line with this policy.

Third-party services

The app is available through app stores (such as Google Play), which have their own privacy policies. Links or features operated by other companies are governed by their policies, not ours.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If we make important changes, we may also notify you in the app or by email where appropriate.
